Renowa Homes stands behind our work. This policy outlines our warranty coverage for labor and materials.
The Hybrid Warranty Model
We operate a two-part warranty system that clearly distinguishes between our workmanship and the materials we install.
Labor Warranty
12 Months
Renowa Homes guarantees that all workmanship will be free from defects for a period of 1 year from project completion. We will repair any installation errors at no cost.
Material Warranty
Manufacturer
Materials (LVP Flooring, Paint, Sealers) are covered solely by their respective manufacturer warranties. Renowa Homes assists in filing claims but is not liable for material failure.
What's Covered Under Labor Warranty
- Installation defects or errors
- Lifting, peeling, or bubbling caused by improper application
- Uneven surfaces or gaps from installation
- Paint adhesion failures due to prep work
- Grout cracking from installation issues
Manufacturer Warranty Partners
We work with premium manufacturers who offer their own warranties:
- Sherwin-Williams - Paint products (varies by product line)
- Mohawk Industries - LVP flooring (15-25 year residential)
- COREtec - Luxury vinyl (Lifetime residential)
- Seal-Krete - Paver sealers (1-3 year protection)
We will provide manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Water damage caused by plumbing leaks or flooding
- Structural settling of the home
- Damage caused by client negligence or misuse
- Color fading from UV exposure (normal aging)
- Scratches from furniture or pet damage
- Issues arising from modifications made by others
Refinishing Services - "As-Is" Condition
Important Notice
Refinishing services (cabinets, pavers) are performed on existing substrates. While we use Site Protection Protocols and professional preparation methods, we cannot guarantee the underlying structural integrity of pre-existing materials.
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Contact Us - Email warranty@renowahomes.com or call 727-601-8200 within 30 days of discovering the issue.
- Document the Issue - Provide photos and a description of the problem.
- Inspection - We will schedule an inspection within 7 business days.
- Resolution - Valid claims will be repaired at no cost within 14 business days.
Warranty Transfer
Our labor warranty is transferable to new homeowners if the property is sold within the warranty period. Contact us with proof of sale to transfer coverage.
Extended Protection
Ask about our Extended Maintenance Plans for continued protection beyond the initial warranty period. Plans include annual inspections and priority scheduling.
